On the morning of September 25, 2019, President Xi Jinping came to Caoqiao Station on the Metro New Airport Line in Fengtai District, Beijing, and took the Beijing New Airport Line train to Beijing Daxing International Airport to attend the commissioning ceremony. The seats for the Beijing New Airport Line are all developed and manufactured by Shanghai Tanda Rail Vehicle Seating System Co., Ltd. invested by Shenzhen Kaituo Equity Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership). 

For the first time, the Beijing New Airport Line adopts the form of "7+1" passenger carriage + luggage carriage. The passenger carriage is divided into 6 ordinary seats and 1 business seat. Ordinary carriages follow the "2+2" layout of seats, the seat is suspended underneath, and a luggage block is set, also armrests are set on the back of the seat near the aisle. Business compartment seats are arranged according to "1+2". The upper part of the business compartment seat and the bottom of the luggage rack are equipped with reading lights and a fresh air system. Each seat is equipped with a USB charging port and a pedal device. There is an interactive LCD screen and a small table on the back of the backrest. The trains on the new airport line are much larger than the previous trains. Each car has 64 horizontal rows of seats, and the maximum capacity of the train is about 1,500 passengers.
