TSC Participated in R&D project of Tianwen-1’s Mars Landing

Tianwen-1, China's first detector of Mars, has successfully completed soft-landing at the planned site in the southern part of a vast plain known as Utopia Planitia on Mars on May 15th, 2021. This detector has been designed and developed by China Academy of Space Technology (CAST) under China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation ( CASC). It is launched on July 23th, 2020 and got to Mars in Feb, 2021.

TSC Laser Technology Development (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (TSC) has been a major supplier of metal additive manufacturing solutions. It has provided more than 39 products with SLM and LDM technologies, helping Tianwen-1 to solve several critical technology problems. The successful landing of the detector on Mars is an important milestone for application of additive manufacturing technology on Aerospace expedition. Again TSC has showed strong capabilities on research innovations and high performance metal additive manufacturing.

As a major shareholder, Plateau has been providing full supports and cooperation to TSC. It will be great honor for Plateau to help the company to improve management and strengthen technology innovations so as to make more contributions to future progress of China’s Aerospace Science and Technologies.
