On March 31, 2017, a summit forum for equity investment funds co-serving the real economy hosted by Ping An Bank with the theme of "Technology-led, Capital-driven" was held in Shenzhen. This forum aims to gather elites in the financial industry to jointly explore how wealth management and private equity funds can better serve the physical economy under the profound changes in asset management, wealth, capital brought by the constant changes in the macroeconomic situation and national policies. 

The forum brought together more than 80 leading domestic private equity and venture capital institutions, and representatives from Ping An Bank's investment banking, asset management, custody, inter-bank, corporate online banking, offshore, and private banking departments, and Ping An Securities attended the forum. Discussions on themes such as Ping An Bank, private equity, and venture capital institutions conducted research on the various parties' implementation of products and cooperation plans in the fields of M&A funds, Pre-IPO funds, fixed increase funds, overseas mergers and acquisitions, MOM, FOF, offshore business, private bank business, consumer credit, etc. All parties at the meeting agreed that many emerging entities still need capital incubation and support, and traditional industries also need capital injection and mergers and acquisitions to achieve transformation and upgrading. In this context, the private equity industry has a broad prospect and huge space for development.
